Got to wonder what was going through their minds listening to him babble and carry on like he was a victim in this mess he created.
They're not dumb. I'm sure they noticed that very little of that speech was about them or their mission, but all about Trump.

Maybe he has learned something from shooting his mouth off, bragging secrets to the Russians, but, knowing Trump, probably wishful thinking.
Definitely wishful thinking, as Trump only knows how to be Trump and all the nonsense that comes with it. He is going to double down on being himself and that is and will be the final nail in the coffin for this clueless, ill informed, ill prepared, clownish, presidential pretender.

He is a mess and is putting our country through a nightmarish experience like what plays out in third world countries.

Let's seeee here...

What did Obama inherit?
  • Worldwide recession
  • Stock Market tanking (Dow Jones was at 7,949.09)
  • Unemployment rising with really bad outlook (7.8% according to BLS)
  • Housing Market Crash
  • GM and Chrysler on verge of bankruptcy

... In fact, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica..

Measured by its impact on global economic output, the recession that had engulfed the world by the end of 2008 figured to be sharper than any other since the Great Depression.

Anyone with half a brain can understand that, quite literally, Obama inherited one hell of a mess.

What did Trump inherit?

  • Not a worldwide recession
  • Stock Market that was doing quite well (Dow Jones at 19827.25)
  • Lower unemployment (4.8% according to BLS)
  • No industries on the verge of complete bankruptcy
  • Healthcare Act needing reform

Preeeettyyy much the only thing Trump inherited was the same-old corrupt DC that every president inherits and a healthcare act that needed some tweaking/repairs. Obama was literally handed a worldwide recession.

Anyone who has forgotten what things looked like at the start of 2009 is literally a Google search away from having their memories jogged.

I do not like anything about the man, but I hope his physicians are keeping an eye on him. He looks like a prime candidate for a heart attack or stroke. This job is not what he imagined, and I bet he wishes he could turn back the clock about a year or so.

One way or another, this Presidency is going to end very strangely.
"Nobody knew that being president could be so hard" -- DJT, probably.

Nice post but you're going at it with facts. Trumpers are incapable of dealing in facts and evidence; that's why they're Trumpers.

Agreed. These folks are getting ready to serve their country and possibly risk their lives to keep us safe, something Donald Trump would know absolutely nothing about. Remember, Trump dodged the Vietnam War draft with a waiver for "bad feet."

back on topic: these young folks are getting ready to serve their country, and Trump rambles on about how the media is a bunch of meany-pants and he's being treated so fairly. He stood before our troops to rant about how he's unhappy that he's being investigated. How selfless and honorable was that?! /sarcasm.

Just another glaring example of his lack of class, grace under pressure, and complete absence of the right temperament for a leader, much less a President.

Can we bring back BO?
