Well, with the clowns we have in office on both sides, I'd say there is no chance of stopping tomorrow. But my point was that we dug a pretty deep hole with previous spending, and whats spent is spent.

I'd not ever heard or read that Ayn Rand got Welfare, Food Stamps, Section 8, etc., public assistance benefits. Do you have any proof of that?

But we can stop tomorrow. Where are people demanding that? I've brought it up a few times and still....no one. (there is a reason why)

National Defense is a Constitutional obligation designated to the Fed Gov. Public Assistance programs are not.

Our wars have nothing to do with the defense of the country.

That's debatable, but I will easily agree that we are spending/using the military, unconstitutionally, on defense.

I have nothing against public assistance for those in need, meaning the elderly and the truly disabled.
I also believe in a hand up for people who are struggling..

But, I believe that people collecting welfare, food stamps should be doing something to give back or earn these programs..
In addition to looking for work they should have to do some sort of community service..
It can be anything and vary by ability and assistance received..
This of course would be by the able bodied, not the truly disabled and elderly..

You know that, how? Does ISIS/ISIL not ever attack the US?

Where are the bake sales to fund these unconstitutional actions?
