I don't know who the hell she is. She's a liar then, because things are getting done. She must be a RINO (French for "Democrat posing as a Republican").

Wha't she doing talking to "Morning Joe Schmo"? That idiot is clearly not friendly to Republicans. All Republicans should boycott those Left-wing idiots.

Nixon was a lawyer and smart and he still paid a price for his cover-up and wrong doing. Trump is not smart about the law and won't take advice from anyone and he'll pay a higher price because of his big ego and big mouth that he keeps filling up with his own feet. It's going to take a year or so but this is the beginning of the end of his dark and dirty legacy. He won't last a full term.

Trivia question for those who were more familiar with the H20gate period ------

What was the official name of the Nixon reelection committee?

For those who don't know, it really had quite the initials and name.

the current situation is that story after story are printed then proven false practically at the instant they are released.

WaPo says something, dems freak out, then its proven incorrect.

There was a "there" there, with Watergate. now there isn't.

I agree if Trump did break laws -- he doesn't know that he did because he has no clue to the laws that govern his position, how the government is run, etc.
How can you make such a statement and expect to be taken seriously?

I could say that about Obama, but it wouldn't be true. Obama knew the laws and the Constitution and broke them anyway, and refused to enforce laws he didn't agree with.

Ridiculous! No he doesn't. But the Constitution does give him exclusive authority to set immigration rules, if your talking about the 'travel ban.' That is completely within his purview per "The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952." He followed the law exactly. It was the 9th Circuit that stepped out of bounds and went beyond their authority, usurping the President's Constitutional power.

He does not believe that! I know you love saying it, but that's just absurd, and you have no proof that he believes that. Have you heard him make that claim? Unlike Obama, he never said, "I won." It was Obama that regularly threatened to "go around Congress," and did.

He was that naive.
Oh, please. Be serious. Donald Trump is anything but naive!

He has not once acted outside of the Constitution, nor has he even come close to breaking the law. And he is not guilty of "obstruction of justice" either, which is the new Democrat meme.

This is much, much worse.

Nixon was, in essence, a crook. Both chambers of Congress had Democratic majorities, and Congressional Republicans had not yet lost their collective minds. Compared to today, it was much easier for Democrats and Republicans in Congress to work together against a common foe - Nixon.

Trump is, in essence, a traitor. Both chambers of Congress have Republican majorities, and some of the more influential Republicans are just now regaining their senses. There are some very good Republican Senators and Representatives, but in both chambers, the me-first, party-second, country-last GOPers outweigh the good public servants. Fortunately, there is a sufficient number of Republicans in Congress who will ultimately put country ahead of personal ambition, and do the right thing when it comes to Trump.

I never thought I'd seen anything that would be close to Watergate. To see something worse than Watergate -- both in the deeds committed and the very slow reaction of Congress -- is really disheartening.
This is hilarious! "Congressional Republicana had not yet lost their collective minds?" Who is it that have totally come unglued today and have become obsessed (or should I say "possessed?"). The Democrats have totally lost any hint of sanity. Have you heard Maxine Waters? Nancy Pelosi? And they are the ones leading the demands for impeachment!

In what way is Trump a traitor? Based on what? Please explain in detail. There is ZERO evidence of any connection (much less, collusion) with Russia during his campaign, and he is certainly not guilty of anything that could be called treasonous since taking office.

When did Democrats (especially the Clintons) put country ahead of personal ambition? Your claims are not defensible.

The Democrat's illegal surveillance of Trump and his campaign, AND the transition team are what is far worse than Watergate. The other investigation that is ongoing, the so-called "Russian connection," is an investigation in search of a crime. They're still trying, and even though Comey was fired, Trump said the investigation would proceed, even though, to date, they have found no evidence whatsoever!

What's disheartening is the Democrat Party having become nothing more than a "Resistance Party," like in so many 3rd world countries. They take over the streets, break glass, set fires, and destroy property in protest of Trump, or in protest of any conservative or Trump supporter that has been invited to speak and dares to accept the invitation. Ann Coulter was forced to cancel. So much for the Democrats belief in the First Amendment! Defend that, if you can.

The problem arises because they continued to surveil the Trump team long after. Surveillance of their political opponents for political gain is illegal.

US Constitution, Article 1, Section 9: "No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State."

Emolument: the returns arising from office or employment usually in the form of compensation or perquisites (Merriam-Webster)

For a very complete explanation on how the current President has violated Article 1, Section 9 of the US Constitution (caution: big words are used), see:

President Trump Has No Defense Under the Foreign Emoluments Clause

Obstruction of justice: n. An attempt to interfere with the administration of the courts, the judicial system or law enforcement officers, including threatening witnesses, improper conversations with jurors, hiding evidence, or interfering with an arrest. Such activity is a crime.

It's up to the courts (or Congress) to decide if the current President obstructed justice when he:

1. Asked then-FBI director James Comey to drop the agency’s investigation into his former national security adviser Michael Flynn; and

2. Told NBC’s Lester Holt he asked Comey whether he himself was being investigated; and

3. The fact that he sought the assurance when he was deciding whether to keep Comey at the FBI.

And there are probably other instances of conduct that could rise to the level of obstruction of justice. All of this in a remarkably short span of time. The current President is sure to take up a lot of space in the history books.
