So does Trump.

So we have a self-affirming circle of people who seem to confirm one another's nonsense.

Adriana Cohen: The media has lost its marbles | Boston Herald

Quote:
"Just this week the media lost its marbles over the notion Trump may have shared intelligence with Russian officials in a recent White House visit. Never mind that there is no proof Trump divulged anything inappropriate, or that the media didn’t give a hoot when Obama did it last summer. Democrats get a pass.

Four dead Americans in Benghazi? The media yawned. Targeting of conservatives by the IRS during the Obama administration? The media snored. Colluding with the Iranians in secret deals, with massive money transfers and releasing dangerous actors? That they considered a triumph of diplomacy. But if Trump orders two scoops of ice cream, he’s Dr. Evil and CNN devotes multiple segments to it."
I don't consider an op ed by some character named Adriana Cohen as "more and more rational and intelligent journalists." Nor did the media snore when Benghazi happened, etc. If it had, you and we wouldn't know about these things. Same old con mindset: Stick your head in the sand if Fox and Friends didn't report it. Your Trumpling just can't play with the big boys. If you want to know how a class act responds to controversy try this:

“If I were to try to read, much less answer, all the attacks made on me, this shop might as well be closed for any other business. I do the very best I know how - the very best I can; and I mean to keep doing so until the end. If the end brings me out all right, what's said against me won't amount to anything. If the end brings me out wrong, ten angels swearing I was right would make no difference."

I don't think they've lost their marbles. I think they're well aware of what they say and do.

The problem lies in the fact that it's becoming harder and harder to be an outspoken conservative in the media or entertainment in general. It's odd because if one where to read mainstream news, listen to pop music, watch TV, play on social media etc........One would think that conservatives were some small underground minority of extremists, yet look at this last election.

I see this when I visit some of my friends up in Seattle or in LA. It's as if they don't even know that over half the country doesn't pay any attention to all that BS. My Uncle's wife is from Australia and the look on her face when Trump won the election was priceless. She had only been in the country for a few months and had no idea about our liberal biased media. She thought everything you see in the media was somewhat representative of the country, and being that she was in Seattle, she saw nothing to prove otherwise. Even I was starting to fall for it toward the end. The onslaught was so consistent and ruthless that it left me wondering if Trump even had a chance. Election day told us everything we need to know about the MSM in this country.

depending on how this plays out - Trump might get re-elected for a third term. that's not so far fetched if the curtain is pulled back and the grand wizards are shown for what they are.
