Just when you think it can't get worse. Trump is his own worst enemy.
“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Trump said. The document logging the meeting was read to The New York Times by an American official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”
Can anyone actually believe that Trump had ANY other reason to fire Comey than to squelch the Russian investigation? And make this gloating statement directly to the Russians?
Trump is projecting. The author of his book "The Art of the Deal" said he does that all the time. He has no self awareness and can't "own" anything about his own weaknesses. He was taught to "hang tough" and "be a winner," probably from birth, so, hence you get this type of psyche. I heard him the other day--he really knows Trump, which is scary in and of itself.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense since he also said that the investigation would continue. And given that there was no evidence yet found ...yeah ...makes sense if you're a liberal, I guess.
Yeah, he said that a couple of days later, after the Special Counsel was appointed.

Yes there are other reasons, and many are the same reasons the Democrats were giving when they were demanding that Comey be fired (until Trump actually did it).
If Trump actually said this he is without question the dumbest SOB ever elected. As a previous poster stated, it's an admission of obstruction of justice.
Fox is only reporting that the story is out there. Fox is not the source. Oh, wait ...Fox is "Faux News" (I thought) ...so, I guess the story must be false. Has to be.
You guys are a piece of work. No matter where this "bad news" is generated from you will find a reason to call it fake and unreliable.
Trump himself could be the lead anchor delivering this news and you guys would still spin it that it is not true.
