Appropriate that they are dancing the "ardah" (Saudi war dance) after Trump completes a weapons deal.

Trump looks so natural.
Well, THAT was awkward.

Also can't believe the secret service guys agreed to him being in the middle of all that.

I agree, Saudi King Abdullah was extremely gracious even after Obama insulted the King's religious belief by bowing.

The Only Mid-East Country they polled was Israel (not very good views on Obama) and failed to poll any Muslim Countries at all.

Saudi Arabia (and the Mid-East) began with High HOPE for Obama, which he rapidly killed. Obama was presented with the same Medal from the Saudi King that the Leftist now ridicule Trump from receiving.

On Obama's last trip in April 2016 to Saudi Arabia he was opening snubbed. They sent a Mayor to greet his plane with no TV cameras at all. That's serious business in a Country known for both Hospitality and Pomp & Circumstance.

Obama's chilly reception in Saudi Arabia hints at mutual distrust
The US president was greeted at the airport by the governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud, and the event was not broadcast live on Saudi TV, as is routine with visiting heads of state – quickly generating talk of a snub.

Underlining the coolness, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, accompanied by other senior figures, was shown earlier on state television greeting the leaders of neighbouring states on the tarmac – ahead of Thursday’s summit of the six-member, Saudi-dominated Gulf Cooperation council, which Obama is to address.

This trip is NOT about Obama or the problems he caused in the Mid-East and Muslim Nations -- it's about repairing those issues and more importantly - President Trump is aware that Muslim Leaders around the globe are involved in serious conversations (began by President Sisi of Egypt) to reform Islam and move into the 21st Century. I'm among those that understand that the issues are battles within Islam for the "True Islam".

Saudi Arabia's greatest threat today is within their own Country and they know it. Iran is a close second, but still a war within Islam.
Well, you tried to explain things logically to the lefty haters. Good luck with that.

Exactly what I thought. The President in the midst of a bunch of men with swords? I realize they were all 'royalty' of the ruling family, but that does not mean there may not have been a nutter among them.

Who knows, maybe the swords were fake.

There are just a lot of parallels with Trump and Richard Nixon. We things got heated with Watergate Nixon also took a trip to Saudi Arabia to get away. Two months later, Nixon resigned

You just keep on dreaming. The next four years will be much easier for you that way.
