Hmm even Clarence Thomas sided with the liberal justices, that says a lot. The GOP needs to stop cheating to win. This proves the point that voter suppression is alive and well.
Whatever happened to North Carolina? They were making real progress away from the southern racial and religious bias stereotype. Now it's back to voter suppression and gay bashing legislation.

With the high tech research triangle an increasing number of highly educated highly paid people from out of state moved there, increasing the liberal base in the urban areas. They are roughly balanced by the far right conservatives in the rural counties. It's a battle to try to keep NC from tipping purple or blue.

Its mostly a result of gerrymandering. These are the final death screams from these regressives.
The thing about this, that is a no win for republicans no matter how they go at it, 98% of blacks vote Democrat. So any redrawing of lines no matter where they be placed, they will scream racism. Even when it is just to even up the districts in republican /democrat
Is this an attempt to support the current system of gerrymandering?
Its a stain on a democracy that we have allowed this to go on. Its like a third world tactic with no place in a modern democracy.
Nope. The poster stated that gerrymandering suppressed voting. I want to know how.
