We do. The vetting process can last up to 2 years or more for people from some countries where the investigations have to be very thorough. Trump did did not explain to his supporters that we already have "extreme vetting".

I do feel sorry for those hurt and killed but on the same token the brits have asked for this. The liberal factions of France, Germany, Belgium and England have asked for this. Until they round up Muslims and deport them this will keep happening. Poland has no such incidents but they don't let in Muslims immigrants.
