The Carrier factory that President Trump convinced owners not to move to Mexico will lay off hundreds of workers just before the holiday season, CNN reported Tuesday.

The Indianapolis furnace plant pledged to stay in the United States late last year after making a deal with President Trump, but announced today that it will lay off more than 600 workers, the final 290 of which will be fired just before the holiday season.

The move isn't a complete surprise for the company. In their initial announcement last year, the company revealed that while the plant would remain in the U.S., the factory would be cutting down on labor to reduce costs.
Well, well, well ... how 'bout that?

Anyone not completely blinded by partisan politics knew the Carrier "deal" to save jobs was BS. It was nothing more than a campaign stunt and basically an in-kind contribution by the company management to the Trump campaign.

Yep. Now let's see what kind of favorable deals Carrier will get from the Trump administration.

This.

Also op can you do a little better next time? They said this was coming and then they did it. Not exactly a gotcha moment...plus the left should be happy all these unskilled, Midwest hicks are losing their jobs.

Most people with a brain knew this would happen as they had just built a new plant in Mexico. All I heard from right wingers was, "Trump is winning". LOL oh yeah?

The sad part is that the far left will be happy about this.

The far left and far right should both go crawl into a hole and die.

The sad part is that someone would make such a ridiculous accusation. The far left is not happy about this, this thread is merely pointing out the falsity of Trump's claims that he saved these jobs.
