The story was not about anger over the guy speaking Spanish.

Also...Spanish is a "loud language?" What does that even mean? I heard one person being loud on that video, and it wasn't Torres.

None of the other passengers nearby seemed to have any problem with him. They only had an issue with the guy in the wheelchair.
I wish they would just make the US national language Spanish. It will at least shut the uneducated idiots up that can't be bothered to or have the intelligence to pick up Spanish.
I've never had this happen to me but I am a white woman. However, I've read and heard many accounts from minorities saying they are treated poorly and I've seen whites act as if minorities are lying to get sympathy.
Maybe YOU understand that this happens to people, but many others do not. They believe because we had a black president, we live in a post-racism society. We certainly do not and these videos prove it.

If an Asian person told me they were attacked by a black person, I'd believe them. You can post as many videos as you'd like. I'm not the one discounting other people's experiences nor am I acting as if this should be just an acceptable part of life.
