For the most part it has to do with the social pressure to marry young in conservative areas. Where I live its very unusual to still be single by your 25th birthday. Most are married before they can even drink alcohol. When I lived on the coast, nobody would bat an eye if you were 30 and not married yet. A lot of people don't marry for true love...they marry because it's what you are "supposed to do" and also a way to have sex without defying the teachings of the church.
Yep. Cultural pressure to marry (young) combined with poverty\kids is a recipe for high divorce rates.
Republican sex scandals have also been more likely to involve adultery than Democratic ones: 86 percent of the GOP scandals involved an elected official cheating on his wife, compared to only 65 percent of Democratic scandals. The remaining scandals all dealt with other types of sexual indiscretion.
Blue staters: Open your legs, pop out 5 kids, and if we stay unmarried, we'll both collect benefits.
Actually there is very little correlation between states, political alignment, and size of families. What little information I can find actually indicates the opposite of what you state though.

*shrug* many politicians are self-serving liars regardless of party affiliation. By very definition they're going to break promises to pretty much everyone that comes into contact with them either professionally or personally.

Any more disinformation?
Just a taste of the left's own sensationalist medicine. I really think there must be a higher divorce rate in any state in which Trump has physically set foot.

From where do you get this nonsense ? Did you interview all of the participants ?
Simple explanation: Religion. Red States tend to be more religious and have a less educated population compared to blue states. More pressure to get married, etc. at a younger age, especially when the woman becomes pregnant. People are less secure in who they are when they're younger. Once you discover you hate the person you're with, it's easier to head to Splitsville when no one is wearing a ring.

Funny since married couples get more benefits and tax credit. Nice try though!
