And I don't see you guys complaining about cutting spending for the poor, elderly, for kids, etc. just to fund an increase in the military, so don't act like you give a crap about that.
It's the other way around. Europe has a huge trade surplus with the U.S. That means that Europe sends huge amounts of capital to the U.S. Without all the goods the living standard in the U.S. would be lower.
Since your post seems contradictory, can you please clarify further?
Are you saying that Europe has a trade surplus, meaning they ship more products to us than we do to them?

Lets start with what these countries agreed to pay upon joining. Are these countries paying as they agreed to pay? No, they are not honoring their side of the agreement. Why should the U.S. honor our agreement?
Because it has done a lot of good? Because it has prevented a repeat of a massive war that would cost immensely more money and lives and in which we may not win this time?

I want our military budget cut across the board as well as to get out of NATO, releasing us from spending billions in defense there.
