TEHRAN (AFP) A director who shares the ideas of Iran's hardline president has produced what he says is the first film giving an Islamic view of Jesus Christ, in a bid to show the "common ground" between Muslims and Christians.Nader Talebzadeh sees his movie, "Jesus, the Spirit of God," as an Islamic answer to Western productions like Mel Gibson's 2004 blockbuster "The Passion of the Christ," which he praised as admirable but quite simply "wrong".

Jesus is the number three prophet in Islam, so I cannot imagine it will be particularly offensive to Christians.

Let them portray Jesus as their religion dictates. I'm sure the religious extremists though will want to boycott and make a stink about it.

What is the big fuss here, if anything Islam views Jesus as great as Mohamed, both are prophets of god. And yes, maybe it is a good starting point for a dialogue between both religions (the love of Jesus).

islam knows judaism pretty well too, but that does not stop them from attacking them.
a better understanding is desirable but i dont think it would have prevented 911.

Jesus is the Son of God, Until one invites Jesus to be the Lord of ones life and have a real experience of salvation one will not understand there purpose. I only speak from experience.

One thing you have to remember is that satan is an excellent liar. Have U been deceived?

Read this Bible passage........

Today's New International Version. 989. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, © 2001, 2005.
Jn 10:6 Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.
Jn 10:7 Therefore Jesus said again, "Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.
Jn 10:8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them.
Jn 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters throughme will be saved. 1 They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
Jn 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
