Do not worry. The GOP will make sure there are no rural hospitals left. They are already causing the ACA policies to ski rocket. Story today on front page of Salisbury Post about how ACA policies will be going up by 22% because the GOP will not say they will fund or not.

The GOP is showing you how they will destroy the Country.

Yep, exactly and here's another story that I just ran across:

Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina has announced that it intends to try to raise premiums by 22.9 percent next year. The company says it would have tried to raise them by only 8.8 percent, but it is going for the larger increase because the Trump administration has not said whether it will continue paying the law’s so-called “cost-sharing reductions” (CSRs) to insurance companies, which subsidize out-of-pocket costs for lower-income people who get insurance on the individual markets. Democrats in Congress want to appropriate money to cover these subsidies, but Republicans have not done so. https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...=.da95e51fe82e

Thanks Donnie

Surely you jest? So Joe High School Dropout should be able to practice medicine?

Key point being the bold. You have a hospital in your county, to take care of those emergencies that won't "keep" while someone is being driven 100 miles (at least two hours) to a city hospital. What if you didn't have that facility? Sure, for something you can plan, the city hospital is probably the better choice.

If Hillary were elected do you think we'd have those 80 rural hospitals (which closed while BO was President) back in operation?
The closing of rural hospitals has been a problem for a long time. Here's an interesting story about rural hospitals in Colorado. Colorado

But isn't this bad strategically?

If these rural hospitals are in red states, and older people are more conservative, wouldn't it be advantageous to keep them alive?

Or maybe an auto mechanic, or a former fast-food worker.

My deductibles and co-pays surged dramatically starting in January. However, Donald Trump didn't get into office till late January.

Perhaps Donnie wants to do something that hasn't been done in awhile ..... this thingy called a budget. Democrats (along with some Republicans) don't like those, I guess.

Donnie also didn't want things like stealing from FannieMae/FreddieMac to continue to prop up a collapsing ACA to continue, either.

Thanks to GOP you are about to see dramatic increases in HC. Typical GOP protect their big donors and forget the people who voted for them.
