Trump s going nowhere. Republican controlled house and senate will defend him unless mid-term elections show that the majority of Americans are fed up. Not likely to happen. Although I cannot imagine him being reelected in 2020, I would not be surprised if Republicans secure another victory. Democrats are completely out of touch with the mindset of the country. They have no coherent message, no charismatic leaders. The old guard needs to go. If they don't find some young blood who can speak to the issues of middle America we will be looking at another four years of someone like Ted Cruz or Marco. Hillary, Bernie, Biden all need to look in the mirror and recognize there time is over. That party is in need of a major make over.

One of the things you seem to blissfully ignore is that most of the press/media is leftist, thus all Republican presidents get much more scrutiny. It happened with Reagan and both Bush's.
So how would you (as a presumed liberal) like it if the press/media was predominately conservative and constantly bashing and taking unreliable sources and running their anti-Democrat stories?
Then conservatives could come on sites like CD and say there is so much smoke going, how long before we impeach Bill Clinton/Obama the traitor, before he destroys this country.

This business with Kushner revealed NBC today - that he had meetings with Russian spies and was trying to set up a private line to Moscow is nothing short of treason. I doubt the collusion angle; this is about debt, money, and Trump working against the interests of the US for his personal gain.

No, we don't "worship" him. But we do support him, because we finally have a President that thinks it's important to put America first, ahead of illegals, and those who wish us harm.
Finally, we have a President that stands up for America and does not apologize for who we are, and doesn't coddle dictators and criminals of the world.
