That is exactly what the 2nd amendment is for.

I feel sorry for these guys that got killed, as they did not understand the bill of rights very well.
Your brain is the most powerful weapon you own. When it fails you, a lesser weapon is not going to get you very far.

Without threats of violence, I defend this mans right to say what ever the hell he wishes.

Why lie like that? Are you just posturing because you have hit a roadblock?

Witnesses say the man pulled the knife and started stabbing people.

The behavior of folks in this thread....sigh.

He is being held without bail on two counts of aggravated murder, one count of attempted murder, two counts of intimidation in the second degree and one count of possession of a restricted weapon as a felon.

There is no evidence what so ever that he changed his allegiance. In November, he was hoping for the assassination of Sessions. He was also calling for people to join him in killing DEA officers. It will be interesting to see if he was on a watch list.

Well good, he should be. He should get the death penalty, but I don't think Oregon has it.

What was he defending himself against, if not physical action?

What subtlety was missed that you're not saying that these two men who you appear to believe attempted to stop Christian from speaking his mind by using physical action deserved to be killed?

I agree. But...look around. And not just the CD P&oC forum

You're stating they didn't deserved it.

Why should he automatically get the death penalty? Maybe ( most probably) he's mentally unstable so they should just kill him vs locking him up in a mental institution? Why is it many people's first reaction is "kill the person", kind of weird don't you think?

There is a Governor imposed moratorium on executions in Oregon at this time.

Why was the girl of his rage not the first one stabbed? It would only seem logical, she would have been the first victim. Because it was not his knife.
