You do know that people on all sides of the political spectrum sometimes resorts to violence right? Look no further than Montana for proof. It's wrong to ever resort to violence and folks should shun those that doit, no matter whether they agree with them politically or not
If this is a serious question, I have a serious answer. Progressives sincerely believe those who disagree with them are evil people and, since they are evil, violence is justified by the righteous.......the Progressives.
The typical response you will get from the right is that liberals are unstable and fueled be their emotions/ liberalism is a mental disorder.
The Typical response you will get from the left is that it's justified, the actions of a few don't represent the whole, or that the right does it too.
The truth is that young people do stupid things and are more violent than older people. Most liberals are young. Add to this that some minority groups (particularly African Americans) disproportionately commit far more crime. Put these groups in a situation to behave badly, and they often will.
Basically, left-wing political ideology in the U.S. is not the reason why the left is associated with violence. It's simply that the people that generally subscribe to it are already more likely to be violent or unreasonable. Give a reason for kids or stupid people to rebel and they will. Nothing more, nothing less
Stupid people do stupid things regardless of their political beliefs.
You know who else is stupid? People that try and shoe horn millions of people into a simple easy to say thing like "left" or "right".
People love to classify huge groups of people on the actions of very few. You can see it in any political discourse, talks about religion especially and race etc..

I don't subscribe to either side, but what you just said isn't really apples to apples. In the last 30 years, how many times have we seen mobs of republicans setting fires, throwing rocks, blocking traffic, or in some cases even shooting cops?
The answer is almost never, yet every weekend in the United states this behavior is taking place in one of our major cities by left-wing groups. At some point the left needs to accept that these groups are not extremists. This is the core of the Democrat party in 2017. Heck, my sister-in-law who is employed and not on drugs regularily sits in on protests that block roads and has even bragged about throwing stuff at cops while doing so. This is what big portion of the Democratic party has become unfortunately.
Isn't it a little silly to post this after reports of a right-winger slashing the throats of two people for coming to aid two Muslims on the receiving end of the right-winger's racist rant??

Also, you can see in the video several "left wing thugs" shielded the right-winger from further attack and lead him to safety.

Well yesterday one of the tolerant right killed two folks in my town.
The extremism on both sides is getting out of hand. its not left and right, its extremists.
I don't believe left wing violence is extremism anymore. I think that's just left-wing politics. You can't call something that happens widespread every single day extremism. At some point when violnce becomes the norm, you just have to accept it for what it is.
The left needs to own it. Honestly, a lot of us former Democrats would come back if the left made it a point to clean the party up.
Numerous Trump supporters were violently attacked by liberals and left bleeding in the streets during the election cycle. A woman was even beaten bloody for wearing a "Make America great again" hat. By "TOLERANT" left wingers.
