If you don't think of 70 as elderly, you need to rethink age. I'm in my early 50's and although I'm in good shape, I'm embarrassed about my age and about getting "long in the tooth." Hell, when I was 20, 40 was elderly.
Nope, not around here. I'm seventy and I refuse to be "elderly". Older, sure. Mature - hope so. But "elderly" doesn't kick in until around 80+.
Of course, many members of my family consistently live into their active and alert 90s, and one cousin made it to 102.
So proportionally - I'm far from "elderly", since I very likely have at least another 20 years or more to go. Maybe even 32 more, if I take after my cousin!
Yes, it is. He should have walked the 700 yards like everyone else.
Yes, he should have walked beside Trudeau to show support for a strong relationship with the second largest country in the world, his closest neighbor, and ally.

Unless he had a physical condition which required him to use the golf cart, Trump should have walked. And it he DID have that physical condition - a twisted ankle, a touch of sun, whatever - it should have been made known to the public.
Public Relations 101. The utter cluelessness of this administration continues to amaze...

Well, yeah, both my family lines have a history of living a long time as well. But I'm not so sure that is an asset these days.
So pathetic, 5 pages of hateful posts from the whining, cry-baby Liberals...about our President. You don't know why he rode a golf cart but you call him a fat-a** and lazy. You folks find some weak-minded liberal post and you all jump on it, to try and make the President look bad. The only ones that look bad in this hate-filled thread, are you.
He was doing okay when he was shoving, maybe he through out his back? Trump makes himself look bad, he really doesn't need any help with that.
Maybe I have it backwards, and this is what Michelle Obama was trying to overturn. The status quo, from what I understand from the link, is that 1/8 tomato paste continues to be counted as a half cup of vegetables. Therefore, pizza is a healthy lunch.
"Congress passed a revised agriculture appropriations bill last week, essentially making it easier to count pizza sauce as a serving of vegetables. The move has drawn widespread outrage from consumer advocates and pundits, who see “pizza is a vegetable.” as outlandish.
...
Right now, tomato paste gets a sort of special treatment under school lunch regulations. Just “an eighth of a cup of tomato paste is credited with as much nutritional value as half a cup of vegetables,” my colleague Dina ElBoghdady explained last week."

Shoving was not cool. Why was he so angry with another state leader, or was he simply trying to be at the front? If he wants to be unprotected at the front, then he probably doesn't use the golf scooter for security reasons.
Part of a plan? They have to build a case for his resignation due to ill health...avoid impeachment and exit#25. He can't get anything done, hates the job, wants attention and sympathy, playing the billionaire developer is more fun, etc. etc. He's created a nest of vipers worse than he expected. Its the easiest exit for him.
