Bernie Sanders makes money off the "act" or "stage persona" that he has developed. He literally collects millions of dollars in speaking fees for playing the Bernie character. And believe me, he has an accountant who makes sure he pays the smallrsy amount possible in taxes. This is ok because it's somehow different than a "greedy hedge fund manager" making millions. Classic case of "It's only Capitalism if someone else is doing it." Like Michael Moore, who made over $100 million on Fahrenheit 911. Liberals are the laughing stock of society. What a bunch of tools.

Before entering politics, Bernie worked various jobs including work as a teacher, a writer, and a carpenter.

He also has no problem with capitalism. He just wants American wages to rise to a decent level. Wages have not kept up with inflation and it gets harder every year to support yourself, even working full time.

Bernie's policy on taxing imports to help American goods compete is similar to what Trump advocates.

A Trump supporter objecting to Sanders making money from his name recognition? That's rich.

Although I agree with you, since the Trump Organization is fleecing America, the OP is lying. If Bernie Sanders were earning a lot of money from speaking fees, he would be in violation of Senate Ethic Rules. If he wants to charge for speeches after he leaves the Senate, then he has every right to do so.

Bernie has always been a capitalist. Anyone who intentionally doesn't know that probably intentionally never did any research to learn what a Democratic Socialist is, either.

This is the problem with politicians. They say one thing and do another. Things will NEVER change - EVER - while that is the case. All Dems are this way as well as Republicans. They get rich off of their positions.

My favorite part of this thread is that the lie to OP told was discredited but no one screaming "**** BERNIE" seems to register that.

And frankly, even if the OPs lie wasn't a lie, it wouldn't matter. Bernie can't be considered a hypocrite for making money because he's never been openly against capitalism. He regularly sites countries like Denmark as being his model for a good economic society, and those countries are capitalist. They have a robust social welfare system, but most, almost all, industry is still privately owned.
