They're 14 they don't know squat. Same with the tools who get a teenager to ask political questions. "See how our youth is involved!". pfftt
If you can get the little derelicts to look away from their hand held idiot box for 2 minutes then you've accomplished something.
Hey Gramps! Listen to something other than Fox News or Limbaugh! Most right-wingers parrot the "talking points" of those shows.
Get out. Go for a walk. Meet today's youth. Better yet, get involved with youth programs, etc. You will be pleasantly surprised at just how informed our youth is.
My children are now college grads. During their middle school years, they knew, and followed, what was going on in the world and in politics. In fact, it was my youngest son who ran upstairs to tell me Osama Bin Laden had been killed.
Don't kid yourself. Today's kids are living in a digital age and are well connected with computers, cell phones, and the like.
And did your kid know that later on, the same team that took out Osama Bin Laden would have their helicopter crash and all on board died?
For anyone who feels these kids are "brainwashed", do you feel the same about parents who raise their kids in a religious faith?
Yes! Not just on religion, but many people are brainwashed by the masses of their peers to stay within a certain little box. Right now on social media, there is a small group of black people trying to fight the pressures of family and peers that they like rock and heavy metal, and do not like rap at all. The coons so to speak.
So they say???? Unlike you, I don't believe fake news..
