Good lord. You would think he would learn some culture after spending 8 years as President. Despite being out of office, he continues to embarrass us with his stupid international excursions.

Quote:
Scots were left outraged when Barack Obama was given a sugar-free Irn Bru during his visit to Scotland last week.

The former US President was enjoying a round of golf at the Old Course at St Andrews when he was handed a sugar-free version of the iconic Scottish drink.

Unlike Donald Trump, Mr Obama has never visited Scotland before. Twitter erupted with angry Scots dismayed that this was the former President's first experience with Irn Bru.

You should really read that article. They were not outraged AT Obama.

I read it. It's liberal spin. It is Obama's fault.

Is the OP serious? Trump just embarrassed the US so bad overseas, even his own staff is calling him a drunken idiot.

Nope, this is made-up outrage to sell papers and raise ratings.

The Scots are a highly intelligent people. They're not going to get their kilts a-twirl because someone handed Obama a diet drink.

Guid grief.

I think I strained my eye rolling them so hard.

If only OP got past the first two sentences:

Quote:
Matt Kilcoyne posted: “Who the hell gave Obama sugar-free Irn Bru?!?! What treachery to all that is Scottish and holy is this?”

Another wrote: “Obama was POTUS, give the guy some full fat Irn bru for Christ sake.”

One user believed that this was a punishable offence: “Who ever gave Obama Diet Irn Bru needs to be met with the full force of the law.”

This brings back memories from the last 8 years, when people were "outraged" over things like what kind of soda the president drinks.

Now, however, we have much more serious scandals taking place on daily bases.

Is there a "CD Useless Post of the Year Award"? If so, I nominate this one.

WoW! And y'all have the nerve to complain about anyone making fun of trump. Petty, petty people.

Since it is so incredibly important to you that obama respect the drink, you should also be claiming that he can't even read, because the drink is obviously upside down!
