Is everything a lie with you? The term "hate crime" is inaccurate, misleading, false, and no doubt it was designed to be inaccurate, misleading, false. It's dishonest.

Yes, of course. A "political crime".

100% agreed! Even open soft-core disregard or trivialization of others' concerns gives cover for the *real* hard-core bigots and other haters to do their dirty deeds - namely by giving the hard-core actions a false legitimacy to those spewing their garbage. "Well if the 'finest people' in the community have that attitude, then them MUST outright hate them, and only political correctness is keeping them from really speaking their mind!". That or "Hey, if a big-time guy is saying stuff like THAT, then I think it's safe for me to test the waters by really dishing out the contempt". It just leads to that kind of stuff.

Have to say, on a team, Captain America is the straight-edge, honorable teammate in contrast to the more wild and bombastic ones. He may be boring, but sometimes boring is what you need.

Evans does a good job, not great, but okay. I think he should stick with acting, although he is entitled to his opinions.

Ah! No wonder I don't know who he is then. I despise ALL comic book movies.

We have quite a bit of celebrity worship in this country. Why, I have no idea. Frankly, I'm not sure why anyone cares what a movie actor has to say about politics.

I love all comic book characters., Cap is lost in battle and frozen for decades. He is thawed out and becomes a man out of time. He leads through the strength of his character. I think Captain America is pretty damned awesome.

"A soldier with a voice that could command a god.... and dogs."

off topic, sorry, but I love comics.

I have no ideas either. But if he plays Cap, I'd see it. I want to see Captain America, not him personally. lol

Uh, I started seeing hatred, bigotry and the like happen under Obama's watch. Black Lives Matter protesting through the streets, calling out for dead cops. An Islam radical killing 49 people in a gay night club that was clearly a sign of hate.
