You better tell conservatives they have no right to criticize the ACLU or Planned Parenthood.

I don't think they got the memo.

I can't follow your logic at all. From your comments, you made it appear as though you thought they were some 'official' government agency or something. They're a wholly private organization which I think spends too much time on the separation of church and state issue personally but I think they do some good work too. I'm generally not black and white about things though.

So fundamentally, you think the ACLU has not done enough about civil forfeiture? Perhaps but I can't say with certainty as I have not fully researched their actions or inaction on the subject.

You can't even follow your own bizarre logic.

So, you're going with the nonsensical reply. Got it. I'm done with you now. Thanks anyway.

The way the law is setup, you must prove your innocence, they don't have to prove that you are guilty of anything.

Which is, of course, antithetical to our Constitution.

That's how it works in the land of the free.

The government is completely corrupted, now more than ever with the Orange Turd in office.

As cops do less public service and more self service, they lose legitimacy and become just another gang. Meanwhile the victims of law enforcement learn there's no future in playing by the rules. They hide assets or stop having assets and live on a bare minimum so there's nothing to steal.

Any more in many cases the difference between a bandit and a cop is the badge.

When I was a kid, find 100 dollars, turn it in, get it if not claimed in 90 days. Now they say its drug money and keep it. Now I see cops searching cars all the time, no doubt many in hopes of keeping the car.

Good for PA.

Can't believe it's still going on, fascism at its finest.

Where is the ACLU when you need them?
>>> The ACLU doesn't involve itself with citizens rights any more. Not for a few decades.
