So, trump releases 16 waivers for WH staff, just since January... on trend to overtake the number that obama issued for WH staff in 8 years. In his 8 years, obama also only had to issue about 70 across the entire federal government. Wonder how many the "drain the swamp" and "no lobbyists" guy is going to need? Hundreds? One for almost every appointee?

"President Trump has given at least 16 White House staff members... The documents released Wednesday related only to White House staff, not federal agencies. "

White House Details Ethics Waivers for at Least 16 Staff Members

MAGA one lobbyist at a time.

Now, I cannot view this document from work (although it is from the White House; odd, that), but here is a link to the list of such waivers as per the Trump Administration:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-...pledge-waivers

Recall that the Trump administration very much did not want to release this list, but felt forced to after a tussle with the Office of Government Ethics.

This article in the New York Times lists some of the names of individuals granted waivers:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/31/u...tion.html?_r=0

Why, even Steve Bannon was granted a waiver, made retroactive to January 20th, to allow him to continue to consult with Breitbart.

As the psychotic mouse, Itchy, would say after decapitating Scratchy (Simpsons) and watching the blood flow: "Oh My oh My!"

I can see why he didn't want to release the waivers publically. One that really jumps out is Michael Catanzaro who was a lobbyist for Devon Energy and heavily connected to Scott Pruitt. He is Trump's energy advisor and I believe Rosen is another lobbyist sitting in the White House. So now you not only have Pruitt who was suing the EPA now in charge of the EPA but an entire slew of lobbyists.

I can see why we haven't heard the words "draining the swamp" lately, pretty embarrassing.
