cool story bro. I get you want to pretend one type matter more than the other. but i hate to tell you the hard sciences are dominated by liberals, you will just have to suck it up. Business schools are part of 3rd level and are flooded with Cons...

hard science is in fact very liberal. but again i DON'T think it matters, most people are smart enough to vote and their vote counts just as much as a highly educated liberal or conservative. Sadly a large % of cons have just stopped thinking.

just listen to the bs on TV over climate change. The Right wing is against the Paris Accord ONLY because they have been told to by Koch etc. the reality is we can see and measure the problem and still we have politicians on TV knowingly lying in order to support their donors.

How dumb is that?
in fact paying people to do nothing often makes a lot of sense and makes your nation MORE profit, but i doubt you will bother learning why.

But if Trumpy shows up next week and tells you "it makes bigly sense to pay people NOT to work" you will suddenly believe it... And what is more you know I am right.

The Trump cult posts fake news all day every day. They come here and start threads about fake news that they mindlessly fell for over and over.

The cult will believe literally anything as long as it's anti-Democrat and/or pro-Trump, as they demonstrate on an ongoing basis, so it should surprise exactly no one that they'd unquestioningly accept whatever is on that guy's web site, too.
It doesn't surprise anyone that dares to use their brain. Especially anyone that comes to a site like this one, where the astonishing cultlike whackjobbery of Trump extremists is on display every day for all to see.

But for many people that don't come to a site like this, it may be the first time that they REALLY understand the true danger of tossing logic and critical thinking into the trash. Most people are either too busy or too afraid to really take a good hard look at where this is going. That is changing and will continue to change, as is evidenced by Trump's ever-shrinking approvals.

Investment tip for the day. Buy Pfizer ,NYSE: PFE. They make Preparation H.. It cures the butthurt and there seems to be an epidemic of it since the election.

Sorry, mathematics, by its very nature, is the antithesis of the liberal philosophy. In math, there IS a right and a wrong. That drives libs batty... and in turn drives them away from pure math. Every semester, I get classrooms full of students proclaiming they "hate math." Why do they hate it? Because it goes dead reverse of what they have been taught since kindergarten--thinking in shades of gray and that their "opinion" matters. Doesn't work in a math class. There are no opinions and there is no gray. Thus they... hate math.

Now, you may be able to make a case for K12 math instructors being largely liberal. That's why the students coming into my university classrooms largely hate math and commonly have no clue as to how to even add a couple of fractions.

You want gullible and naive, how about buzzfeed and cnn falling for a fake dossier about donald trump and hookers in russia and trump being blackmailed by putin

how about polls and predictive models and liberal sites and papers showing hillary clinton having a 85-98% chance of winning

endless " hacking " stories about how the russians influenced the election

Thing is with a given algebra problem (say a linear equation), there is a correct answer and an incorrect answer. You can make excuses for the incorrect answer all day long and it is still not correct. Liberals HATE that situation. It's very hard to pervert mathematics (especially abstract math) because it is based on irrefutable proof for any given claim. If you can't prove it, it is not considered truth. Consensus is not enough. It takes proof. So, you won't find as many liberals in a math department as compared to, say, an English department or philosophy department, because that is not the way their brains are typically wired. They are wired in "gray." Math is wired in black and white.
Yep.

Math and science aren't "squishy."

Besides, the really, really talented math professors are way out there and on another plane of existence. Many couldn't even tell you the difference between a liberal and conservative. They have more important things to think about.
And many of them aren't even American citizens with any real interest in our politics.
