You are naive if you think that is the reason, this has everything to do with money.
Maybe or perhaps you are stuck in the past. There is anger over the environment and it is just going to get louder.
I may agree with you in part in that if it is about money, it is about oil company culpability in the rise of greenhouse gases and the potential fall out and liability they may face.
I remember reading an article asking why would criminals dump toxic waste in the same neighborhood their children play in and pollute the water they drink.
The answer is simple it is all about greed.
So why would Exxon continue to pollute the planet that would damage their own childrens' future?
Greed of course.
Shareholders are people to. They see the future and want what is best for their children.
There is money in "global warming"... ironically you left out that it was Hedge Fund managers that voted for it... the same Hedge Fund managers that make money on "global warming" investments...
Links/ names. I want to read about that. (Yes really) Please don't use Breitbart.
Do you only believe in science when it supports your pocketbook?
once again you are using a false narrative. i believe in science, always have, always will. what i DONT believe in is politics in science, and politics driving science.
You don't care about the debt you leave your children?
I believe the best gifts we can give/leave for our children are education, an excellent infrastructure, and an environment that is beautiful and supports life (human, animal, and plant). If we don't leave our children this, money will be worthless.
