It's a bad time to be on Trump's team:

Mueller broadens Trump investigation to include Manafort and possibly Sessions - Chicago Tribune

"The special counsel investigating possible ties between President Donald Trump's campaign and Russia's government has taken over a separate criminal probe involving former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, and may expand his inquiry to investigate the roles of the attorney general and deputy attorney general in the firing of FBI Director James Comey,

You also can't personally have any integrity if you're willing to work for a man who requires allegiance from his FBI Director.

The sensible thing for Trump to do is name the Interim FBI Director, Andrew McCabe, to the job for a full term. McCabe has already assured congress that he would not give in to pressure from the White House and compromise the FBI's integrity in its work.

Well, I just put the word "sensible" in the same sentence with "Trump". Pardon the error. But it would seem that McCabe could handle the job very well and keep politics mostly out of it. If there was ever a time when the FBI needed to be outside of politics, this is it. Check out this article:

FBI Acting Director Andrew McCabe Faced The Senate Intel Committee Thursday : NPR

Also interesting is that McCabe is a competitive triathlete and bicycles 35 miles per day to work. What a counterpoint to the fat and slovenly Trump he makes.

It will take a real patriot, in the truest sense of the word, to take on the directorship of the FBI.

The will to serve our nation still exists in the FBI and our law enforcement agencies, so I'm sure someone will be found, even knowing full well they could become sacrifices to Trump's fragile ego, or fall victim to one of his merry band of pirates.

We still have men here who have the guts to stand up to those in power in the service of justice. For sure, the job will be thankless at the best, and hell on wheels at its worst.

An entirely true statement, in every way. Certainly no "fake news" involved with that.
