We need a serious look at this at the federal level.

I don't care which party does the gerrymandering. It's wrong.

Winner winner chicken dinner!!!! Kudos. You get it. Politics has become a game of who cheats best....wins.

I think this issue will be seen by the supreme court.

Trump had the biggest inaugural crowd. Period.

Wow.

Huge negative generalizations made against 10s of millions of people by those claiming to be "educated" and "tolerant".

This speaks for itself.

It DOES make a difference.

They do a poor job in that regard.

I'd bet the house you NEVER complained about that!
I guess you missed the last sentence.

3. Those (14) states where Trump job approval is over 40% but less than 50%: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin.

Those three states in red are the ones Trump barely won by less than 1%. If he stays under 50% in those states he has no chance of being reelected.

Wow, a lot of elitism from the LEFT in this thread. Keep it up. You're going to get Trump again in 2020.

These are all rockribbed Republican states and Trump carried all of them in 2016.

2. Those (17) states where Trump below 40% in job approval: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and Washington. These are all solid Democratic states carried by Clinton in 2016.

These were in general the battlegrounds in 2016, with the exception of a few states that were carried fairly easily by Trunp, but have large minority populations.

At the bottom of the article, you'll find the approval/disapproval for each state and the size of the sample. President Trump has a higher approval than disapproval in 19 states.

What's telling to me is that even in the most conservative of solid red states, his approvals are not especially high.
