It's all BS
I understand how pollsters work.

The fact that most polls, including those from conservative sources, have Trump's approval consistently around 40%, it's safe to say the number is reasonably accurate. It's not meant to be viewed as gospel.

The poll in question was a national poll by the way.

I agree with this - this is a misleading thread title.

His ratings are frankly terrible (and borderline-embarrassing), but let's be accurate with the words we use here. This particular statistic is linked to "strong" approval - not just general approval (two different things).

As much as I'm generally not a Trump fan, I wouldn't rely on MSN and a single poll to give unbiased information on the totality of public sentiment towards him.

What is the obsession with the polls every other week? Trying to make yourself feel better?

Worst President in American history!
Typical leftist shenanigans using the title that serves the liberal narrative. Even if the figures sited were accurate, saying only 18% strongly approve is deceptive based on your thread title. It should read either 40% approve, or only 18% strongly approve.
It is like you are a shill for the the left, trying to marginalize Trump based on manipulating the data.

I will also note that some of Trump's critics are his supporters, but they are dissatisfied with the speed in which is he getting the swamp drained.
Rest assured those same respondents would vote for Trump over Hillary again, if the election were to be held again.
