The difference between the examples you give and the example in the OP is that the author of The Art of the Deal IS the source. People have been knocking these stories where unnamed sources are used and now when they name the source, yiou're still claiming fake news.

I don't care what angle you look at it, but Trump's presidency is groundbreaking. This is some real life crap. Following Trump in the media makes reality TV shows look like advertisements for this real life Trump Show. Really. Amazing stuff we're living through right now from an entertainment standpoint, starring our own real life government. Actors demand $20mil for a movie? I can't come up with enough zeroes for Trump's performance thus far.
