You can't dismiss the hacking of the DNC and be critical of this action, all these leaks and hackings should be important and cast in the same light, they all weaken our country whether it is Reality Winner, Assange or Snowden.
The only thing juvenile is to claim it doesn't matter when it suits your needs.
Spot on post. Selective punishment of leakers when it suits your needs is kind of a joke. The President was praising leaks last summer, funny how this is being overlooked.
I have kids about her age and can't imagine how I'd handle this if one of them did this. I suppose she felt that she was doing it for some greater good but it's probably going to have severe implications on her life. UGGH! I never imagined it but I guess teaching young, idealists not to commit espionage is something we should be doing.
Believe me, anyone with a Top Secret clearance has been taught. She's probably just not mature enough to handle all this crap. I doubt she even considered that her act was "espionage." I am sure that the way she sees it is that there is this information that she has and knows to be true but sees the administration lying and covering up. I'm sure she thought she was performing a public service.
