I did address it. Arguing that we deserve the attacks against us is not a reason to keep inviting more of them in to our country. It's a reason to keep them out, actually.

No it isn't. We came very close last time. Sanders would have won.

Not providing welfare still makes this country a 100 times more attractive than a bombed out city that is still being bombed.

You would do the same.

If someone destroyed everything you owned, you would demand the same.

I doubt Sanders has the magic power to stop the war. I think you put too much confidence in politicians. It is the system that is flawed.

Like I posted earlier,

So what are some of the issues?

There’s no proportional representation in the USA. This means that important social groups receive no representation at all or else become highly uncomfortably represented in the two main parties. We also use first past the post voting, which encourages a lot of strategic voting.

Presidentialism also pushes for a two party system.

Wait, didn't you criticize Sanders in another thread saying he also supported war? I remember it because you like to argue with me. LOL

I think the topic is

in spite of claims of being antiwar, his “hawkish” support of Clinton’s military actions in the 1999 Kosovo War caused one of his advisers to quit. When antiwar activists occupied Sanders’ office in 1999 because of that support of Clinton’s war policies, he had them arrested.

It does not take magic. Even a corrupt Nixon was able to do it. I don't really have any obligation to further address a wrong position.

Do you think the US is purposefully killing unarmed civilians in order to further a political goal?

If you wrong someone and they come after you for deadly revenge, do you lay yourself prostrate and allow him to kill you or do you try to defend yourself even if you think in the back of your head that you deserve it? Maybe you don't even let him in to your house?

Yes but purposeful or not makes no difference to a parent of a dead child.
