Russia never stopped being the enemy of the United States. They just realized they couldn't win on an open battlefield and took the fight to the shadows. Since then, they've had much more success.

What is a surprise is that you have constructed in your head that an American political party somehow forced a foreign nation to set up a corrupt government and economic system which they otherwise would not have had. That makes no sense whatever.
I'm glad I've bookmarked this by now...

They should considering Communist in this country vote Democrat. Besides many of Obama Adviser and closest friend were Communists: Frank Davis Marshall and Bill Ayers were some of his close confidants.

Friendly Russia sent out a fighter to intercept one of our B-52s over the Baltic Sea. Detente at it's finest.

I am informed by the Houston Chronicle this morning that the National Security Agency was aware in June 2016 that the Russians were trying to get into state voting records.

State and local elections officials were contacted but not told of the seriousness or that it was Russia.

Instead of playing the Ds or Rs did it first, why aren't people concerned that our elections can be hacked. If they got this close in the 2016 election, what's to stop them in 2020?

I am stunned at the lack of concern by our politicians and citizens.

But by gawd we need a wall to keep working Mexicans out.

The paper went to work with DH. It was a Tribune News article.

No, not "Communists" of course - rather "Socialists," and Russians out of all people, with their long history of the "left-leaning" ideas would understand that.
However the American Democrats ( I'm talking Clinton) supported there the cut-throat policies of the "survival of the fittest," with total destruction of the social security net. The kind of policies, that you'd normally ascribe to the staunch conservatives. These people (supported by Clintons) that brought the Oligarchy to power referred to themselves as the "Liberals," talking non-stop about the "market reforms" and "freedoms." Since these kind of policies brought the immense suffering - homelessness, hunger and so on, the word "Liberal" became a curse word in Russia, and they don't see any difference between American Democrats and American Republicans.
And obviously - they hate Clintons.
