Not a fan of buffalo wildwings or sports bars for that matter... nothing like seeing the kid who sucked in pop warner-college league sports scream hoot and holler at a tv... besides their hottest wings are a joke, I make hotter.

Applebees, eh. Fiesta lime chicken is good. Not something I'd eat every day...

Typically you can find me with a slab of moo pork or poultry on a grill or making Sourbratten and other cuisines that can't be had at the chain food establishments.

Not a fan of Texas road house either, for the price, the portions are a joke.

I love regular steak houses ran by small time mom n pops that give you a respectable hunk of well cooked and seasoned prime rib.

Material gain isn't everything. That's why we're better than you.

I think the boomers said the same in the sixties.

Yeah, but they still knew less about the world than we do now. Hippies were just discovering things that we've known about since we were kids.

I'm in L.A and there actually aren't too many places similar to Buffalo Wild Wings.

So this could be a local thing .
I've only been to a couple times BWW but they've been very busy those times .

Good, I'd be happy to see the end of those places which tend to have overpriced, sub par food! Restaurants are one of the few types of businesses where a local independent person can still operate and succeed in despite the massive corporate take over of America. I'm gen x and I watched corporations destroy many a small business. When I was a kid I lived in a city neightborhood and I remember going to the local stores with my parents, hardware stores, clothing stores, the local pharmacy. As I grew up the world around me changed, local stores shut down and the mainstreet started to become a ghost town. Everyone abandoned their local stores and started driving to the suburbs full of huge ugly strip malls to shop at Home Depot, Target, Wall Mart...

I do realize that many of those restaurants are franchises owned by local business people but most would be much better off taking their business skills and opening their own restaurant and keeping their profits instead of sending them to the corporation that owns the name of their restaurant.

A lot of people where I work blow untold amounts of money at the local sports bars. There's only so many ways a person can cook a burger and I can cook better burgers myself from home for much less money, not to mention the cost of alcohol or marijuana is much less than buying drinks from a bar. Being introverted can be cheaper for sure.

I have been eating paleo lately so I make a lot of my own salads as well.

Very rarely do I go to a sit down place where I have to shell out $30+ for a meal. Maybe once a year. lol.. I typically go to a chinese buffet where I can eat all my favorite foods for lunch fresh for $10.

BWW like many businesses tries to avoid locating their restaurants within the City of L.A. although they have a few in L.A. city limits - in Hollywood, Baldwin Hills, Northridge, and the Sherman Oaks Galleria.

They have a lot of locations in L.A. County though. Including Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Santa Clarita, Torrance, Whittier, Downey, etc.

I'm not a millennial, but I avoid BWW and Applebee's because of crappy food. If they're losing business, they have no one to blame but themselves.
