That would be a very good thing. Whether his replacement would be any better is doubtful but Sessions resigning would be reason to celebrate.
Yup, we could end up with Kris Kobach *shudders*
Also, I think it's becoming harder and harder to argue that Trump had nothing to do with Russia. If that's the case [that he has no ties with Russia] why was he so angry that Sessions recused himself? DUH it's so obvious! He's was depending on Sessions to block any attempts at investigating the ties via a special prosecutor or an independent commission.
Is it not obvious that he is guilty of something? Maybe not outright collusion but it's clear that there is something fishy going on. Innocent people don't need other people to run interference for them to avoid being investigated.
So basically Trump is mad at Session for trying to be clean and impartial. He demands outright shady corruption from his boys.
Trump demands complete unquestioning loyalty. You are either with him or against him. If he thinks you're against him, he has to destroy you.
Sessions is probably seeing the writing on the wall. If he can keep his job until Trump is gone, Pence is pretty likely to keep him. But it doesn't take much for Trump to turn against you. The moment he doubts your loyalty, his paranoia grows and before long you're sent packing.

the dude practically invented trump derangement syndrome.
While Trump is running around harassing whoever is on his mind from day to day, other countries are looking to close the gap left by the voluntary withdrawal by the USA from the position of world leader on so many fronts (e.g.: humanitarian):
"Canada will step up to play a leadership role on the world stage as the U.S. turns inward to focus on its own national interests, Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland said in a major policy speech today.
...
Freeland praised the U.S. for being the "indispensable nation" for the last 70 years, paying the "lion's share" in blood, treasure, strategic vision and leadership in promoting peace and prosperity. But she said many of the voters in the presidential election cast ballots "animated in part by a desire to shrug off the burden of world leadership."
"To say this is not controversial. It is simply a fact," she said."
No one going to resign and again wishful thinking of fragmented stories produced by the Left. The AG is suppose to be independent of the executive branch foolish ones.
????? The DoJ is part of the executive branch, the AG is part of the president's cabinet, and the president can fire the AG for any reason or no reason at all.
You have a strange view of the word "independent".
I agree that we should demand a high degree of competence and impartiality from the DoJ, but nevertheless, since the DoJ is not part of the judiciary nor the legislative branches, it must be part of the executive. There is literally no other place for it to be.
No one going to resign and again wishful thinking of fragmented stories produced by the Left. The AG is suppose to be independent of the executive branch foolish ones.
Well, story is Sessions offered to quit.
And the issue is that Trump does not know that the AG is supposed to be independent, hence his anger at Sessions for reusing himself from all investigations Russia since Sessions is not objective as he worked on the campaign. But again, Trump does not understand this.
