Trump suckers do not care about facts. So long as Trump strokes their bigotry and ignorance with Muslim travel bans and disbelieving science, they will support him. Sure, they won't benefit from his actions - nobody but his cronies will - but if they feel that some brown guy, Muslim, gay, or whoever is getting hosed even worse than they are, they'll keep supporting Trump. Honestly, if Trump offered to shoot one of his supporters in one foot if he then promised to shoot somebody they hate in both feet, most Trump lovers would take that "deal." Utter lunacy.
When Trump said he could kill a man in cold blood and broad daylight and not lose any support from the right-wing lunatics, he was right, sadly.

Remember back when the FOX crowd and all the lunatics on the far right (Bannon, Jones, etc.) were screeching about how if Obama were elected, he'd order his secret Muslim army to take over America? I know one woman whose mother-in-law, terrified (because the only news she ever watched was FOX), had iron bars put on her windows to protect her from those invading Muslims.
This is the kind of person who votes for someone like Donald Trump.
