You and me both! Fries are Carb City all the way. Whether they're gay or straight fries, if you end up eating too many, you may have to change your moniker to "WannafitinGreenville". If we develop fryophilia, our BMI will resemble the national debt!

You can leave liberal out of it, and it's hardly mockery. Sorry if the truth sting. Talking about morally upstanding, and Trump in the same breath is laughable, unless it's the lack thereof.

The gay fries have exposed just much hate and anger is in your camp.

It'll be OK, though. You can still believe the same stuff you've always believed in.
Actually, I'm seeing things Regressing.

- Free speech being attacked (literally) on college campuses & in many cases denied.

- Racial groups being singled out & being asked to leave their job or campuses because of their skin color.

- Freedoms of speech and assembly being discouraged in (so called) progressive cities.

- The fourth estate devolving from non-political searchers of truth....to silly entertainment figures with their hair on fire.

I haven't seen a disconnect or a movement this hypocritical since the Cultural Revolution (which set China back 2 generations) or Reconstruction (which set our country & particularly the South back 2 generations).

It's nuts. The issue isn't about Gay Fries. The issue is that I have a right to like idea of Gay Fries and I also have a right to NOT like the idea of Gay Fries....& would prefer not to have my opinion attacked/condescendingly dismissed or muzzled...... by triggered children (or by triggered bible thumpers). They're both cut from the same unenlightened cloth.

I don't have a problem with them having a rainbow box. Plenty of gay people work at McDonalds. And FWIW I didn't stop going to Chik-Fil-A either over their anti-gay CEO. People and companies can express themselves however they want as long as they are not hurting anyone else IMO.

I remember a lot of my liberal friends were mad I ate Chik-Fil-A but I didn't GAF lol. One of my very good friends is a gay man who is a manager at Chik-Fil-A. As long as they aren't discriminating against gay people, I don't care. Chik-Fil-A is good. McDonald's fries are good and I love their black iced coffee and will eat/drink what I want to eat/drink.

The public needs to stop trying to find things to get upset about IMO.
This is my exact take. (especially about yummy chik fil a nuggets and micky D's fries).

Holy crap, this is a 32 page topic now over like 4 McDonalds in DC for 2 days that have a rainbow on the packaging?

How many people really eat at McDonalds anyway? Especially gay people? They're not gonna eat McDonalds when there are a plethora of healthier options around.

LOL.

No it's not. You wouldn't hear anything about "stay out of our bedrooms!" if people in this country didn't actively seek to make what goes on "in their bedrooms" illegal, or prevent them from getting married. That's why you have to hear about it. Because there are people who still feel it's ok to dictate who another person can marry or sleep with. Then these same hypocrites get all upset because they have to hear about it. Stop trying to dictate how other people live, and you'll stop hearing about how they live. If I fought so you couldn't legally marry who you love, I doubt you'd just quietly oblige. It couldn't be more simple.

That's far more shocking than the topic. Who would have thought french fries in a rainbow box warranted 32 pages?
