Maybe Dodd frank needed to be tweaked but there is no way we needed to go back to 2008. Wall Street and big banks are getting everything they want, which is everything trump railed against.

I'm just sitting back with my bag of popcorn waiting for the devastation to strike the morons who voted for Trump and the congressional Republicans. I keep saying this - unless people wake up to 3rd party candidates, conditions will get worse for the average joe/jane.

"In a near party-line vote, the House approved a bill, dubbed the Financial CHOICE Act, which scales back or eliminates many of the post-crisis banking rules."

How dare the Congress try to eliminate speculative destruction of other people's money. After all how do you think the speculators become billionaires? They steal the equity of the fools that take out more loans than they can pay back like Donald Trump.

I probably should not have dumped my financial services mutual fund and transferred it to midcap and dividend growth funds. I sleep better with the latter two funds however.

I remember when Tea Party activists railed against bailing out the banks, after they cracked up our economy.

Now we have this, bending over the barrel for the banks and begging for it. Those politicians are all phonies, clearly they represent their donors, not their voters.
