Lawyers are good for something. BS'ing. They criticize. They attend hearings. They make speeches. They know stuff.
I just think the job of a Representative or a Senator is to be a do-er not a talker. I don't think lawyers should be sent to Capitol Hill or the White House. If they want to be a lawyer, be a lawyer and quit wasting our time with the dog and pony shows. The only reason why they have them is because that part of the job lets them be lawyerly.
