You need to stop watching Faux Fake News and listening to the addict you are incorrect, the GOP wants MORE laws to control a person's life.

You ever hear of the Underwriters Laboratories and American National Standards Institute? These are private organizations that seek standards and quality certifications. They exist outside of government and yet they exist to protect the consumer.

You do realize government does nothing that private can not do, and do better?
UL and ANSI are basically industrial consortium groups. They provide a very useful rule but would never get near even attempting to discover that lead paint was damaging children or cigarettes causing cancer. They deal with knowable immediately recognizable hazards but the long term effect of things is not in their charter. And they do not always require the best approach. The UL and the US requirement for wiring of homes is well inferior to that of Europe. Cheaper but less safe. That was the choice made by the industry not the consumer. We have done a good bit of fixing with things like GFI...but that is because we started with the wrong system.

And actually the government can simply pay for what it wants from private enterprise. But you cannot let private enterprise define the specification when it comes to safety and the environment. Their conflict is apparent and not resolvable. They are a creature to make profit which may well be in conflict with make it safe.

Lead paint (a real example) is not known to be harmful and in fact is defended strongly by its manufacturers. How does your libertrian system prevent damage to millions of kids. In fact how does it prevent the damage from going on foreverd?

Similar with Tobacco and cigarettes. Who is it that finds the hazard and establishes the scientific basis to take it to court?

Or perhaps you believe in judicial tooth fairiies?

The one that abuses their due diligence to make sure they are not causing harm to others..... Because if they are caught harming on purpose and blatant, Gone..... Hang them.

More absurdity. They are dead before the question is answered. So who undoes 10 or 12 trillion dollars in damage.

So because it happens anyway, we should remove the protection laws? What kind of democracy is that? The fact is those laws have indeed reduced the likelihood of it. The lead was a problem mainly because of it coming from a foreign land (in that case China.)

Democratic regimes have the right to protect their laws and to prevent any law or law that contradicts its provisions
This filter is the safety valve to protect democracy in free countries

Perfect example used by Trump: The Empire State Building was built in less than 1 year. Today, that project would be tied in years of red tape, before any ground is broken and once the first grain of dirt or sand is moved, take years to complete.

Communism and Islam = control and enslavement
Constitution = Freedom & Liberties.
Totally "DIFFERENT ERA"... over many decades and many contrivances BY Man, is what drives the necessity of Regulations being modified and imposed, and further backed by laws, to address the grossness of some men in their quest of and for money. Trump seems in ways to not understand the distinction of the power of money vs the power of wealth. They are discerningly different even though they have some common characteristic in that currency is their common tool.

s.

cool story bro, of at least 5 people DIED building it,
maybe that is why it takes longer today, but of course maybe you think it is OK for 5 hard working Americans to die so that the "trumps" of the world can get their buildings faster.
