And here in lies the big problem with Trump and his Presidency.

It's about scoring the most bills, writing the most Executive Orders. I always think that quality vs. quantity is the key...especially when we are trying to reduce the size of govt...not make it more impotent, I mean important.

Yeah, that would work. Shall we see if that happens?

What? it isn't "a real presidency"... but, it must be, he won the election!
But, you would need a real election for that without some intermediary to skew the actual results.

I'm still waiting for all of those coal miners jobs to open. Too bad there won't be any health coverage for them.

I've said this before and I'm going to say this again:

We need to get rid of the party system. It served a purpose before but now it just drives the wrong behavior. People will vote for their party no matter what - this is very dangerous. Most ideals have changed over the years and it's time to change this one. Just vote for the person you feel will do the best job without all the labels attached. <I'm so sick of hearing/reading "left; right" "liberal; conservative" etc...>

I get this image of the captain of the Titanic as it's going down: <not a true story>

"But this is the most indestructible and safest ship ever built!!! <glub> This ship will never sink <glub glub> ~~ This is the greatest ship <glub, glub glub> ever <glu~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>"

Point: Many refuse to face the truth or admit they made a mistake. Pig headed? Stubborn? Need to save face?

This guy (Trump) is a disaster.

Congress STILL hasn't passed or even taken up National Reciprocity. STILL no health care - and I'm 60 and gonna die if that doesn't get fixed, and soon. STILL no border protections of any meaning. Just a lot of religious extremist hatred. Did they even take up a budget yet? Where's the infrastructure? Our roads are coming apart and most interstates need a third lane. We still have all these worthless alphabet agencies.

This guy has about 12 months left to accomplish something and then the election idiocy will start all over again.

Trump can't focus on anything other than himself. He's twittering and frittering away his presidency. He should have started with infrastructure - both parties want it (except maybe the tea party) and could have promoted some kind of unity.

Instead, he chose healthcare (notoriously difficult) and to demonize President Obama.

More self-inflicted wounds from a President that is totally clueless and just signs whatever Paul Ryan sticks in front of him. .

So true. These are some of the wonderful things the Republicans have done including allowing your ISP company to sell your browsing history. Boy - THAT's really a win for the little guy. Oh, and gutting banking regulations like Dodd Frank so banks can operate again as shaky casino's.

Such projection dear. Republicans are currently secretly meeting in back rooms to pass a healthcare bill.
With NO hearings and NO input from any Democrats because they have never been invited.

Take the plank out of your own eye before worrying about everyone else.

"Working together" has not been a priority for this administration since Day 1.

It's beyond recovery, because Republicans don't care about this country.

Exactly - they really are very clever, aren't they? They already reduced the amount corp pay in taxes - slipped right by most people. There's a reason he selected his "partners in crime" - now he can legally protect the rich and screw everyone else.

He doesn't have a clue how to get legislation passed because bullying doesn't work for him, so he signs as many things as possible, no matter how meaningless (including giving days and weeks names), so he can have photo-ops, look important and act like he's doing something other than playing golf and tweeting.

"...In his two terms, President Barack Obama issued 277 executive orders, a total number on par with his modern predecessors, but the lowest per year average (35) in 120 years. Trump signed 32 executive orders in 100 days..."

But yes the Russia debacle is a distraction. It's vaporware.
He's evolving though. That takes time.

A lot of stuff going on under the radar, while Russia is screamed into the camera over and over.
This is the fastest the federal government has got anything accomplished that people ran campaigns on. They only have a few BIG things left and Obama will be erased from the books.
