Wow, this post was created yesterday and only has 11 replies.

Can you imagine if a Democratic Congressman had said this?! One of the "core four" Trumpers on here would have created a thread about it and there'd be 100+ responses by now....

But since it is one of their own talking crazy, they scroll right past this thread and refuse to participate.

Roarbarker has spent too much time in the sun on the California beaches. And by the way, I remember B-1 Bob Dornan. He was definitely "out there".

No doubt his comments will be broadcast on Russian state-owned "news" channels and their subsidiaries Breitbart, zerohedge, globalpost.ca, infowars, etc...

As far as "women's rights" in Iran are concerned;
--Women are required to wear a rusari, manteau, or chador in public
--Women must obtain permission from their husbands (or fathers if single) to travel abroad
--Women may not enter a sporting stadium to watch male athletes or if the spectators include non-related men
--The testimony of women is not admissible for certain crimes
--A woman's testimony is worth half that of a man (Sharia law)
--Polygamy is allowed for men, not women
--Women can't ride bicycles
--Muslim men can marry non-Muslim women, Muslim women can't marry non-Muslim men
--Women may not change their religion nor criticize Muslim leaders.
--Buses and subways are divided into two sections; Men in the front, women in the back.
--A man can initiate divorce verbally and for any reason. A woman must petition the court and may only be granted a divorce on certain grounds and with the husband's (or male guardian) permission.
--After a divorce, mother's custody ends at 2 for boys and 7 for girls then reverts back to the father. If she remarries she loses all custody rights.
--Women may not wear clothes with writing on them
--Women are not allowed to work in any occupation if the husband disagrees with it.
--Women may not receive the same amount of inheritance as her male relatives.
--Women may not become the Supreme Leader (The highest authority in Iran)
--Women are not allowed to reject her husband's request for sex (Tamkin)
--Women are not allowed to study certain subjects at university
--A conviction for rape requires four male Muslim witnesses
--Women are not allowed to own pets
--Women may not become judges
etc................

Now this is the point where you're supposed to say "...but Saudi Arabia"
Some wimmin . . some . . they strike like a cobra!

The guy's Stalin reference was fascinating. Surely he's old enough to remember the Cold War and understand that having a mutual enemy is in no feasible way a promise of lasting peace. The situation also isn't as desperate. Iran is no where near the threat the Nazis were and ISIS would not show nearly the same restrain that the USSR did.

Unfortunately that works both ways too many times. No?

Now that you're here, care to weigh in on the subject of the thread?
