A 700 mile long wall long wall on the most porous areas of our border was already approved by congress in 2006 by both parties. Was that a publicity stunt? Do you disagree with that legislation even though similar walls already erected on smaller portions of the border have been highly effective? Is so, what is your reasoning then?

The 700 mile long wall's estimate is between $20-25 billion, not 40 billion. It's to stop those who come by foot which are the majority of illegals. Only visa over stayers come by plane and they can be monitored. Ever heard of tunnel sensors? Most illegals don't dig tunnels to get here it's usually the drug cartels that do.

Not surprising. They are just responding to the anti-American hate campaign waged by the left. American Democrats would probably boo as well.

I don't think you read my post. Of course a wall is needed in El Paso or San Diego, and it already exists. But why would we need a wall on a mountain or where a river makes it incredibly expensive. It's pretty obvious that Trumps wall plan was a huge joke from the beginning.

Why does it matter if Mexicans living in Mexico do soemthing? What sort of monster believes that Mexicans living anywhere else should answer to something someone else did?

Also don't you think their economy would be much much worse if they had to support all of their citizens that are currently in the U.S living illegally?

If they had to pay for all that healthcare, education, etc?

Slave labor ? Really? Ask ancestors of slaves if they think that is accurate.
Actually, I think their economy would be better off without the massive brain drain they have going on. Why can't these dreamers take their activist selves down there and fight against government corruption? It sure would benefit the country in the long run.

It wasn't his plan it was congress' plan back in 2006. I know he wanted to extend it along the entire border but since then he has realized that it's not necessary or feasible. I wouldn't call it a huge joke though. Mountains and rivers are natural barriers to illegal entry. That's not where the 700 mile long wall was to be built. There is only a small segment of it that has been built in San Diego and Tucson and they are very effective. Completing the 700 mile long wall with the same structures is all we need.

Trump denigrates them, and insults them.

Did you think that didn't color their opinion of us? Trumps actions are hurting our reputation considerably.
