I've heard this story before. The idea that trump would reject Hayek is ridiculous. His buddy who publishes the Enquirer prints whatever trump tells him to. I often read it in the checkout line to see what agenda trump is pushing that week.
The Enquirer also bought exclusive rights to the story of one of Trump's mistresses and then didn't print it. Nice to have such a good friend in the tabloid business!

The right decided that going to church was good enough, they don't have to vote or live a moral life, thus you see them rallying on trump voting him through primaries (when they could have picked honest good leaders) and supporting Trump while knowing he stole from students sexually assaulted women abandoned two wives and families.
Trump is a documented thief, con artist, sexual assaulter that is defunding Healthcare to give a massive tax cut to billionaires . The religious right knows this, knew this and still back him to this day.

At first I thought this seems like a Seinfeld episode.
I'll give this to the Donald he is a smooth operator. At least at first. Offer Selma a coat to keep her warm and get her and her boyfriend's number allegedly for staying at his Atlantic City hotel. Okay. He tosses his number, and calls her for a date. Strange. Then he becomes creepy. He wooes her by calling her boyfriend a loser.
That type of approach does not work in the game of love only in the game of politics.
And the man who ultimately won Salma's hand (not Selma) in marriage is far wealthier than Trump (19.5 billion USD net worth vs. Trump's 3.5 billion).
Nobody on the face of the earth would turn down Salma Hayek.
