Wait. You're not really suggesting the left wing anchors fanning the flames of hate bear zero responsibility?

His creed is almost word-for-word the hatred spewed by Bernie Sanders. Is Bernie Sanders deranged?

"The teams have a group of assistant coaches that include congressional aides, former aides and lobbyists who have expertise in the game. "

It's my understanding that he was also a former aide.

I would say that the right wing has no decency since they are the ones fund raising and running negative campaign ads based on this shooting.

A Twitter feed I follow pointed that out. He or she was attacked mercilessly, but it's hard to deny. No one on the left will admit it

Elsewhere in Current Events there is a thread about Michele Carter, a teenage girl who has been found guilty of Manslaughter for her role in urging, via texting, a teenage boy to commit suicide.

The same rule of law should be used to convict Bernie Sanders, Rachel Maddow, and the rest. They must acknowledge their responsibility in this tragedy.

Default The New Banality of Evil

Here's an absorbing piece in the City-Journal written by Steven Malaga about the rage that fueled James Hodgkinson -

"Hodgkinson apparently took much of this to heart. Though he displayed fits of anger and intolerance in the past, what apparently drove him into a murderous rage late in life was his fear that Trump was undermining progressive gains. To him, that amounted to Trump being a “traitor,” someone the resistance needed to “destroy.” His was an extreme version of the absolutism that has gripped the opposition, which must describe every idea associated with the Trump administration and every individual working in it in apocalyptic terms. This ignores the political reality that Trump’s most radical proposals have little chance of succeeding because of Republican opposition, and that his biggest accomplishments are almost certain to be the kinds of ideological course corrections that occur whenever the president of one party is succeeded by one from the other party."

https://www.city-journal.org/html/ne...vil-15269.html

The idea of Trump being a traitor that needs to be destroyed has been insinuated by Democratic politicos, espoused on Twitter and Facebook and talked about here on CD. The bottom-feeders on HuffPo and Salon are determined to push the meme that all this is Trump's fault and they just keep pushing the rage button on more azzholes like Hodgkinson. Hell, just look at he comments of some of the posters here. And they're choir boys compared to the outright hostility on Twitter.

I have a bad feeling this is going to happen again.

Absolutely not! The same precedent could then be used against conservatives when -- not if -- the Lefties return to power. And their obsession with the contradictory non-logic called Political Correctness demonstrates that they can't be expected to show restraint.
