Trump supporters keep repeating the same thing but don't explain why this travel ban is necessary. No one has ever answered what is wrong with our current stringent vetting procedures. What is so lax about them that we require an orange blowhard like Trump to protect us from the big, bad immigrants who are supposedly out to harm us? Where's the proof we need the better vetting procedures, and what are they going to be? (Hint: there is no proof of any of it, only Trump's same old talk but no plan).
Why have borders at all then? Everyone is nice from failed states like Yemen and Somalia. They'll be just fine here, even though they treat their women like slaves. And no one from those countries have ever committed terror or gone to fight for the dark side.

Women get stoned and Gays get stoned in the bible so doesn't surprise me.
The gays don't see him as a threat. They see his willingness to work with the conservative Republicans (the Evangelicals) as a possible problem.
He's not the one they are worried about.
It's the Republican govt. at large. And I know most Republicans will say -- pffft -- there is no threat.....but that's not true in all of the USA.
Trump has talked about letting states decide on many of the same sex rights....and that means battles in courts for years.
That is how our system is supposed to work. You don't have a king who declares gay marriage legal and suddenly we are in paradise. Read the Constitution, which says (I'm paraphrasing) anything not listed is deferred to the states.
Maybe one day you will figure out that Islamic extremists are a bigger threat.
Not in this country. Evangelical Christians are more of a threat to gays here.
