Yes he was. I was watching an old Fox segment last night where Hannity was calling for impeachment of Obama for overstepping the boundaries of executive power. Thing is, Obama at his worst pales in comparison to Trump.

Anybody who followed Breitbart or InfoWars during the Obama years got to hear all about how he was a Kenyan-born Muslim with direct ties to ISIS.

Thank goodness for Breitbart, InfoWars, Fox, and a few others. Without them you'd be stuck with admitting the most well-known popular media are Democratic oriented. Put the NYtimes, WaPo, CNN, NBC, HuffPost, etc.. overwhelm the Breitbarts.

LOL.

(If one reads legalsea and don1945's replies, they use the past tense re Trump's actions. They appear to have missed your continuation of OnOurWayHome's present tense....which, IMO, is essential to appreciating the real humor in your post.)

I supported Obama's first run, and was very happy when he beat Hillary in the primaries, and beat McCain. By the time the 2010 midterms rolled around, let's say I was no longer a fan. I'd love to know what Trump's initial thoughts were re what came to be known as 'birtherism'. From the point where Obama produced his long form birth certificate, until Trump's announcement that Obama was born in the U.S., Trump was obviously pandering to a certain segment of the base. IIRC, it leaked out within the last couple of months that Kushner told someone, essentially, that Trump didn't believe that Obama was born outside the United States...that he was just trolling for votes. However, I don't believe the timeline of what Trump believed at what time was part of that revelation. I wonder if (say before his biggest involvement with the Reform Party) Trump felt, before ever bringing it (Obama's birth location) up, that X number of people might jump on a 'Trump birther bandwagon' should he seek a POTUS nomination...while feeling or knowing from the get go that Obama was born in the United States.....or if he really initially believed that Obama wasn't, but, by the time he knew Obama was, noticed support for 'birtherism' and felt nurturing that support was more important than the truth.

after watching the documentary "bring me roger stone" i'm pretty sure trump jumped on the birther wagon on the advice of roger stone. birtherism began in 2008, trump didn't join in till 2011. by that time all the facts ( minus the "long-form" ) were well documented and the HI department of health had confirmed the obama's birth info ( october 2008 ).

His attorney, who now has his own attorney, would probably never let that happen. The possibility of him committing perjury is to possible. Same reason defense attorneys never let the defendants testify. Opens them up to all kind of questions.

Right, Trump just started the lie that Obama was a Kenyan born Muslim and the entire country threw out racial attacks at him for his entire Presidency...

You guys really have a short memory.
