Trump administration pushing to weaken Russia sanctions bill: report | TheHill

President Trump’s White House is expected to push House Republicans to change the Senate’s Russia sanctions bill to make it more friendly to Russia, according to a new report.

Yeah, a Congressional bill with nearly unanimous, bi-partisan support to punish the country who committed a massive hostile attack against us and Trump is already trying to weaken it so it doesn't hurt his buddy Putin.

Say it with me: "Trump is guilty".

Absolutely, no question.

Most accurate election bumper sticker of last year: Trump/Putin 2016

It's pretty obvious Putin has something on Trump.

I wonder how Rasmussen feels now about promoting their latest online poll.

Russia has attacked our electoral systems. If our so-called president will not defend our country against aggression but instead gives aid and comfort to our attackers, then is that not an impeachable offense?

They will get him for something. His days are numbered at this point. If he fires Mueller and Rosenstein, it will be game over.

This President in both words and actions has gone after our largest trading partners, traditional allies, and neighbors... yet continuously speaks highly of and offers sweeteners to Russia (in private strong-arming no less) with nothing in return. What are we getting for losing Ukraine as an ally, losing what remaining trust NATO has that we'll abide by its purpose, and the only retribution and deterrent in place for Russian election interference? Absolutely nothing as far as I can tell. Not even the guarantee of dropping the retaliatory sanctions Russia levied against the U.S.

Why is Trump speaking softly toward one country and wildly flailing the big stick at the rest of the world? To use Trump's words slightly altered, wouldn't it be great if we got along with...everybody?

A little harsh, but we'll give him a faux gold-plated faucet and sink.

The Trump Administration is correct, we need to develop better relations with Russia and not do things that will harm the people already suffering.
