I am sure many are sick and tired of all these million/billionaires hogging all the money spending it on frivolous things rather than helping poor people. Hypothetically let's say every person that has millions/billions were forced to distribute all their money to the poor and social programs, how would you feel?

I would feel like I lived in a communist country and know life would change for the worse. Thou shalt not covet.

I don't understand wanting what others have worked for when you live in a country where you are free to do any work you choose for yourself. That sounds like a lazy person to me.

The thing is most of the people that end up making such money due so due to shady and unethical business practices taking advantage of others, exploiting people, and screwing over others, as well as using slave labor. They are almost all evil/psychopathic/narcissistic/greedy/insane.

I think what Bill and Melinda Gates are doing is wonderful. They actually care about the poor. And then we have the Kardashians who care nothing about anyone else. If I were this rich, I would have no problem giving money to the poor.

Huh? That sounds like something the shooter in Virginia would have said.

Raising hand: multi-millionaire here, I'm entirely okay with my 24+ % tax rate going to the those less fortunate than me. I'd be happy to pay much more provided I could ensure it would go to them.

Yes, because inequality is good for the economy - to an extent. In January, Oxfam reported that 8 men have the same wealth as 3.6 billion people; this is an unsustainable and an inefficient economy. In the United States, liberals are labeled as communists for initiating any conversation around wealth inequality. The F-35 project will cost 1.45 trillion, yet liberals are "evil socialists" for wanting to give kids free lunch at school.

Sounds like a potential troll thread from a newbie poster.
Either that or a very young naive poster, without a clue how our constitutional republic works.
Those "evil rich people" didn't just wake up rich, either they or their ancestors worked hard for their economic status.
If they were forced to give up their wealth, then we'd be in a socialist and/or communist society which history has proved does not work. Those forms of government have been responsible for at least 100 million people being killed.

Make sure to read up on it in history class this summer.
