I don't understand the whole itchy fingers to start a war with the Hermit Kingdom.

Kim may be a loony, but I don't think he's dumb enough to start something, especially with the U.S. and lacks any real capabilities to do so. If he were to start something, it would be over before it even began.

I'm curious to know when sanctions worked. Cuba, Iran, Imperial Japan, North Korea, Vietnam, etc. sanctions had no positive effects on any of those countries.
